I really enjoyed playing with other people, but as I said, back up top the drifting mechanic takes some getting used to and can be tricky to learn when your first getting into the game, but once you master it you will have a better time playing online. I played both single player against CPU players and on LAN multiplayer with other convention attendents. I got about 30 to 45 minutes of game time and during that time I played several maps as races are usually pretty short usually 2 or 3 minutes depending on the track you play on. The controls and gameplay definitely doesn't feel as clunky as the older game version and I never experienced any lag while playing KartRider: Drift at the convention. There is an auto-drive feature in this game which holds the gas button down for you so you don't need to apply the gas button while doing other driving maneuvers. They have improved the controls significantly in KartRider: Drift, You do need to use the drift button when taking sharp turns, it can be tricky to get the hang of at first, but after playing a few games it gets easy to use. Best to put them in the YouTube Megathread.
